Lou Tosi

Lou Tosi passed away peacefully in his sleep Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, at home. He courageously fought cancer for four months, never losing his spirit or faith.
A celebration of the life of Lou Tosi will be 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at Raintree Christian Church in Lubbock . Cremation is under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock.
Lou was born June 12, 1940 in Chicago Heights, Ill. Lou was very proud of his Italian and Hungarian heritage and of his native Chicago. Lou proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1958 through 1961 and was a loyal supporter of the American Legion. Lou and his family moved to Lubbock in 1979 and started Tosi Roofing, which he was actively running at the time of his passing. Lou married Judith Lynn Alexander Nov. 4, 1961 and they have three children.
Those left to treasure his many memories are his beloved wife, Judi; twin sister, Louise; sons, Gary Tosi and wife Kim of Lubbock, and Kevin Tosi and wife Joy of Lubbock; daughter, Michelle Stephens and husband Matt of Lubbock; along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lou was most proud of his grandchildren. All of his grandchildren live in Lubbock and he loved spending time with Kristi, Kerri, Kevin and Landa Tosi and Cross Stephens. Lou was a man who was strong in his faith and lived his life accordingly.
Lou had a big heart and loved to help people and was known to bring stray animals and wounded birds home. Lou lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed, but the world is a better place from having him here for 65 years.
The family appreciates your continued prayers and support, and requests memorials, in honor of Lou Tosi, to the Joe Arrington Cancer Center .
